Audio Prediction vs Performance
Does software prediction meet reality in the real world?

In the world of performance venue audio systems, software-based audio prediction tools have become essential for designing systems, setting expectations, and optimising coverage. But how closely do these predictions align with what actually happens on the ground?

Join our team for an insightful session where we unpack real-world case studies from across New Zealand, showcasing where prediction software hits the mark—and where it doesn't.

We'll explore the variables that influence outcomes, including venue architecture, environmental factors, audience presence, and system calibration.

Through practical examples and honest discussion, we aim to bridge the gap between digital models and acoustic reality. Whether you're a system designer, mix engineer, or production manager, this session will offer valuable takeaways for improving results and understanding the limits of prediction in live sound.  Presenter  Tim Robertson.
