Skills Active Entertainment and Event Qualifications

How the Qualifications came about

In 2013, the ETNZ Executive approached Skills Active about developing qualifications for the industry, as there was no consistent standard across the country.

What you see now is the result of a dedicated group of ETNZ members, along with the training expertise from Skills Active Aotearoa, the industry training organisation for Performing Arts. Together they developed these qualifications that can be gained on the job, meet industry standards, and are recognised on the NZ Qualifications Framework.
