We are a high performing, collaborate team that drives arts and culture activities in local communities – ensuring Aucklanders gain real benefit from their engagement with the arts. As Production Manager you will have you will be our key liaison between our Technical Managers, Event Coordinators, Venue Technicians, and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome for all our events.

He kōrero mōu: About you
This role will see you being involved from initial stage of determining technical needs for the delivery of events and the communication with all relevant parties. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders and previous experience in large scale event management, logistics, crew management, production management and similar as it relates to MICE events is advantageous.

To be a success in this role you need:

  • 3 – 5 years previous experience working in the events and/or production industry
  • Practical experience in technology including Staging, Sound Audio Visual and Lighting
  • Event coordination over a wide variety of event types.
  • Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in dealing with international presents / performers
  • Ability to articulate client event needs in a way that they can be delivered by technicians.
  • Qualifications in event management or production technology is desirable
