Sir Howard Morrison Centre
E te ti e te ta, nau mai piki mai ki to Te Arawa Waka. He karere he panui tenei mo tetehi tunga hou ki te Kaunihera o nga Roto o Rotorua.
Following a major refurbishment of the Sir Howard Morrison centre, our Technical team will soon require the support of a dedicated pool of casual crew to assist in pre-opening tasks for the Theatre – due to open October 2022 – and provide additional assistance to meet the operational peaks of the vibrant performing arts events programmed. This will include roles in and on the main stage, the black box theatre, and the banquet room, supporting all commercial activities around the building, and associated temporary performance spaces around Rotorua.
We are seeking both suitably skilled and those wishing to develop back stage skills to join our casual (as and when needed) team. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience and learn new skills within technical theatre. Being keen to challenge your skillset and actively learn, as well as working as part of our team is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of history with the only 1,000 seat theatre in the Bay of Plenty! Attitude is everything, we are a tight-knit positive team that promotes a safe, respectful, and encouraging work environment. Team players enquire within!
